Booking multiple rooms for a group can easily and quickly become a nightmare. Depending on the size and requirements of the group, hotel rules or even the language the hotel is trading in, the organizational tasks can become enormous. We take all that burden of your shoulders and deal with those on your behalf.

Frequently Asked Questions
How can your service be free?
In most cases hotels work with "commissionable prices". There are no additional costs to you for our services. We negotiate the best prices for you and your group, which may not be possible online.
Different booking sites have different rates, how do you find the best prices?
Most hotels will give different rates to different distribution partners. Hotels may sell a certain number of rooms at a specific rate, but may not be able to offer that same lower rate for a larger group.
How do I cancel my reservation? Do I contact you or the hotel directly?
Typically, you will contact the hotel according to the booking agreement you signed, however we will be there to help at any stage. Our job is to act as a facilitator; we can support you even after the agreement is signed.
If I need to cancel by booking, do I get a full refund of my deposit from the hotel?
Not all hotels ask for a deposit. You will know from the beginning whether the hotel requires a deposit and whether it is refundable or not. We will provide you with the information but will have to abide by the hotel's terms.
When and who do I pay?
You would normally pay the hotel at the check-out. However, some hotels, according to their policies or the group size, might require a deposit (refundable or not) in order to secure the booking.
Any monetary transactions will happen directly with the hotel. We do not act as a typical travel agency. We will work with the hotel to get a booking agreement that meets your expectations and then will set you up for the direct contact with the hotel. Depending on the hotel or the size of the group, some hotels will ask for a deposit (refundable or not) in order to secure the reservation. The remaining amount is typically due one the check-out date.
When will I be put in touch directly with the hotel?
After we receive all the quotes from the hotels that we approach and you choose the right one for you, we proceed with the contract. After all is signed and confirmed, you will receive all the direct contact information of the person responsible for your booking at the hotel.
When do your services start and finish?
We begin working on your request as soon as we receive the necessary details.
To serve you best, we ask that you share all relevant information and preferences for your group. This includes specifics such as breakfast options, room location within the hotel, number of beds per room, group composition (adults, minors, families, or friends), floor preferences, accessibility needs, and any other special requirements. The more we know, the better we can fit your needs.
Will I get a bill from you if I don't proceed to book the hotel you are proposing?
No. You will never receive a bill from us, either you chose our option or not.
Will my room be more expensive if I decide not to use your services and book directly?
Yes, booking outside of Barre Consultants may result in higher rates. We understand the importance of staying within a budget, and our value goes beyond just pricing. With over 20 years of experience and established relationships with many hotels, we’re able to negotiate better group rates, added perks, and more flexible terms—advantages that are often not available through direct booking.
